Event Details

Bus will be running a meet and greet/networking night on Monday 14 December at Troika Bar (opposite Bus).

The evening is for any emerging artists, writers, and curators who've ever thought that they should know somebody or that someone should know about them... the night is designed for you to meet people in a pretty cosy environment before you take on the world...

The evening consists of two parts - a structured session where each participant will pair off and have 3 mins to speak to each other, before moving on to another person.

The second part of the evening will be a lot less formal and participants - now introduced - can continue conversations that they began.

This is the first of a number of meet and greet nights that Bus will be running. The idea is that each one will have a slightly different structure.

We're also looking for additional people who may be involved in arts admin, exhibition design, writers, academics, funders, buyers or even just people passionate about art to come down and be in the mix.

It's short notice... but (some) drinks and nibbles are on us.

Bus Projects is an independent art space with a focus on artists engaged in a spatial art practice. That is, any practice that uses its environment as a context to its staging such as sound art, performance, installation, video and the cross-pollination of these forms.

Bus Projects takes an active role in the professional development of artists and curators through range of workshops and forums that are to be launched throughout 2009 & 2010.
